"Prom"

The "Prom" hosted by the Mercy Special Learning Center staff at a community location. The event is held annually in the month of May for students over the age of 16 as well as alumni and former students. Our students wait, anxioulsy, until they turn 16 and earn the privilege of attending the "Prom."  Most all dress up and get to enjoy the opportunity year after year with their friends. Students and staff alike have a great time!

School Dances

All school dances are hosted at the school by the Mercy Special Learning Center staff. Dances are held three times during the school year for students over the age of 12 and alumni/former students as well. Dances run from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Dancers typically enjoy the sounds of our "Mercy House Band" providing live music to rock 'n roll the night away. Parents are required to sign the students in, leaving an emergency contact number but are then free until the dance is over. Our students enjoy many friendships and very much look forward to renewing those friendships at each dance.
