Led by Mercy teacher, Vickie McHale Magical Movement Dance classes (both group and private) are held daily after school. Vickie stresses "movement" offering ballet, tap and jazz as she helps the students to become aware of their body through movement. This is a fee based program and participation is voluntary. However, once making the decision to join - it is anticipated that every dancer will put forth his or her best effort for the good of the dance class they belong too. Those students requesting private dance instruction put forth an even larger comittment of time and talent! Dancers perform at the DAB Annual Dinner Gala in November, various community performances and in-school events as requested and finally.... in the Spring Dance Recital. The students literally SHINE and they absolutely adore being on stage!
