A Best Friends Forever program has been formed with students from Allentown Central Catholic High School. Friends from the two schools are matched, creating one-to-one friendships between them. By introducing Best Friends Forever to Mercy Special Learning Center, the invisible line, that often separates those with disabilities from those without, is crossed.

Some of the activities our Friends have experienced include: attending a Central Catholic football game, enjoying a Christmas Party with craft activities and goodies, Bowling, the now-famous yearly 'sleepover' (actually a three hour pajama party with karoke and movies!!) and the year always concludes with a baked ziti dinner shared by our buddies and their families.
