The photo here has a history all it's own. Several years ago, the girls, who have all attended Mercy since they were infants, wanted to submit this photo to the National Down Syndrom Society call for photos for Down Syndrome awareness month. Not only was the photo chosen, it concluded a photo display in Times Square, New York City. The photo epitomized the girl's friendship and the joy they share with each other in all that they do. It seems appropriate to include this important aspect of a Mercy education here.
