Individual classrooms may plan field trips for a variety of reasons and to variety of places, such as: the Pumpkin Patch, DeSales Theatre, restaurants, bowling and even an occasional movie. Every student looks forward to participating in these community outings.  Each student proudly exemplifies what it means to be a student at Mercy Special Learning Center.

A gentleman observed a group of our students at a local restaurant. He was so impressed by the students behavior and camaderie that he paid the bill and quietly left the restaurant, sharing his reasoning with only the waitress. How wonderful! A story that highlights the abilities of our students, wherever they happen to be.
