Community Activities take place both in and out of school. For many years the New Outlook Greater Allentown Pioneers Chapter 38 have offered Mercy students countless hours of fun through volunteering. They have hosted an annual Christmas Party for the studnets and provided much need equipment to the school thru funds raised by their own community efforts. The Allentown Fire Department brings their Safety House to Mercy yearly. This provides a valuable experience in helping the children to learn and retain fire safety procedures. Mercy students travel to Parkettes, Rodale Aquatic Center and Good Shepherd on a monthly basis. Mercy's goal is to have the children as active as possible in this community.
